Responsibilities for In-Community Providers:
Provide counseling to youth ages 3-21 and their families in the home or in community.
Monitor case progress towards goal achievement.
Collaborate with care managers.
Practice sound clinical and case management judgement.
Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
Conduct Biopsychosocial Assessments (BPS)

Position Requirements:

Experience working with DD population / Substance Abuse a plus but not required
TF CBT knowledge a plus but not required
Child Centered Play Therapy a Plus but not required
Must be able to work independently in a multi-cultural environment and promote cultural sensitivity and strong leadership skills.

Form:
Behavioral Assistants IIC will provide services involving application of positive behavioral principles within the community by way of culturally based norms to foster adaptive outcomes.
Work efficiently to enhance the client’s behavior and/or attitude by developing and strengthening skills in a variety of situations. Increase coping skills by way of face-to-face interventions provided individually or in a group setting with the client and his/her family in support of goals in the ISP/treatment plan.
Decrease likelihood of admission/re-admission to residential, mental/behavioral treatment programs of inpatient psychiatric settings.
Associates degree with 1-3 years of experience working with youth, children or adolescents in an applicable, group setting based program preferred.
Relevant experience and/or personal knowledge of developmental disabilities preferred.
Valid NJ driver's license is required.
Traveling is required within the county.

Work Schedule: Days, and times will vary; must be willing to work occasionally on weekends and evenings.

Virtue Care Inc. is actively looking for a BCBA ( Board Certified Behavioral Analyst) to provide behavioral services for youths under age of 21 with an intellectual/developmental disability and young adults under the age of 21 demonstrating symptoms consistent with autism.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs); develops Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs).
Home visits to identify environmental factors affecting the youth’s ability to learn and assist caregivers in better understanding their youth’s social/emotional needs.
Supervises Behavior Technicians,
Maintains records, data, and reports in approved formats as necessary and required.
Demonstrate knowledge of research based behavioral strategies.
Provide consultation and intervention regarding behavior management, effective education and assessment of behavioral needs of students with and without disabilities
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and design, implement and monitor behavior intervention plans and evaluate accordingly; Develop crisis intervention plans when needed
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine youth’s needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
Provide direct behavioral therapy services to youths, focusing on skill development and reducing problematic behaviors.
Prerequisites:
BCBA Certification (active)
Proven experience delivering ABA therapy to youths with autism
Flexible and adaptable approach to work commitments
Experience supervising RBTs/technicians
Strong clinical and decision-making skills
